During his time playing Bruce Banner/The Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Mark Ruffalo, like Tom Holland, has gained a reputation for spoiling things. You tell him a sensitive piece of plot information, and theres a decent chance that he might accidentally reveal said information in public. Now Frozen 2 star Josh Gad is poking fun at Rufflalos poor track record with keeping secrets with the following tweet about the upcoming Disney release.

What does this movie look like, Avengers: Infinity War?! In any case, Gad clearly knows of Ruffalos propensity to inadvertently say things about an upcoming release that he shouldnt (like how half of the heroes in Avengers: Infinity War did indeed end up biting the dust, pun fully intended) and is making sure he doesnt make that same mistake over the next nine months.

Josh Gad would also be wise not to share any Frozen 2 details with Mark Ruffalo privately whatsoever, even if they are both members of the Disney empire I mean, family. After all, if Tom Holland could spoil Chris Pratt on Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdoms plot before Pratt had even read the script, then its a good bet that Ruffalo could spoil something about Frozen 2 to someone he meets before the sequel drops in theaters.

To Disneys credit, the studio hasnt released any official plot details about Frozen 2 yet. The trailer had quite a few interesting moments, like Elsa using her ice powers to fight the waves from a nearby beach to Anna grabbing Svens sword and slicing at something offscreen, but we have absolutely no context for any of these scenes. 2019 is packed with highly-anticipated Disney releases, and its safe to say that Frozen 2 ranks towards the top of the list, so Disney is aiming to keep fans in the dark for as long as possible. Fingers crossed Josh Gad sticks to his goal not to emulate Mark Ruffalo in the meantime.

Its worth noting that Frozen 2 isnt the only Disney movie Josh Gad is appearing in this year. Hes also playing Mulch Diggers in Artemis Fowl, although since thats based off a book that was released nearly two decades, spoilers arent quite as big of a deal. As for Mark Ruffalo, hes reprising Bruce Banner this April in Avengers: Endgame, and while Banners monstrous other half only appeared in Avengers: Infinity Wars opening, Hulk will be back in action for the Phase 3 capper and be sporting his own costume.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse gives us a nearly infinite number of versions of the web-slinger, but are any of them one we've met before? We've seen many different versions of Spider-Man on the big screen alone, so are any of these animated Spider-Men (Spider-Mans?) supposed to be one of the previous live-action versions? Producers Phil Lord and Christopher Miller were recently asked if Sam Raimi's version of Spider-Man can be found in the film. According to them, the Peter Parker that we meet in Into the Spider-Verse isn't any one previous Spider-Man, but is a new character influenced by all that came before him. I think the idea is that this Peter Parker is an amalgam of all the Peter Parkers that you have seen in popular culture. So there's elements of the Homecoming Tom Holland Spider-Man, of an Andrew Garfield Spider-Man, of the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man, of Spider-Man from various comics and TV shows. And sort of in this universe the Spider-Man that comes to Miles' world is one that looks similar to but is not exactly the same as the ones that you know. And so, that's why all of those plots are similar, but there's a twist to them.

While Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse brings us a multitude of Spider-Man versions, from Spider-Gwen to Noir Spider-Man to Spider-Ham, there is actually only one proper Peter Parker credited to the film, voiced by Jake Johnson. Rather than make him an animated version of Tom Holland or Tobey Maguire, this Spider-man is designed to remind you of every version of Spider-Man you've known before, but isn't actually designed to be any one of them.

Of course, there's a perfectly good reason that one might make a connection between the Sam Raimi directed Spider-Man, and the version of the character that we see in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, as the film makes a direct reference to that movie, though, as Chris Miller implies to Fandango, the reference is slightly twisted. Yeah, the Spider-Man in Miles' universe that he meets early in the movie was meant to be as competent a Spider-Man as possible, and is meant to be living in an alternate universe that we would all consider the mainstream comics universe. So you'll see that like he and M.J. kiss in the rain upside down, but she's upside down, and he's right side up. Just trying to find little ways to say, 'This is a parallel dimension.'

The entire premise of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is that there are an infinite number of parallel dimensions in which different versions of Spider-Man exist. As such, while one could certainly suppose that Sam Raimi's Spider-Man exists in one of them, there's no reason that we need to meet any version of the character we knew before, as there are an infinite number of versions we've never met who we can be introduced to here.

And of course, by using new characters, the movie can set up sequels that go off in any number of directions, something that is reportedly already being planned. Unsurprising considering that the initial reaction to the first film is absolutely off the charts.

Guardians Of The Galaxy Director James Gunn Responds To Stan Lee Abuse Rumors

It's been a difficult year or so for the legendary Stan Lee. Marvel's prolific writer and creator of many beloved characters has had a variety of personal, financial, and health concerns, and it doesn't look like the drama is stopping anytime soon. Rumors have swirled claiming that the 95 year old icon had actually been suffering from elder abuse at the hands of both his primary caretaker and possibly family. Lee has denied these allegations, but various folks in the comic book community certainly seem concerned. In fact, even Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn has taken to social media to give Lee his full support. Take a look below.

While James Gunn didn't necessarily accuse anyone of elder abuse, he made it clear that he and others are concerned for Stan Lee, and are willing to help if he ever needs it. While Lee himself has denied the rumors, the world is paying extra attention to Marvel's prolific creator.

Stan Lee has a special place in all Marvel fans' hearts, including the various directors who work within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Lee has made a cameo in almost every Marvel movie to date, so a ton of directors have worked with the beloved comic icon. James Gunn is just one of many people who seemed concerned for Stan Lee's well being, in the wake of his myriad scandalous rumors. Kevin Smith also took to social media to lend his support and share that he too would be happy to help the legend if he needed it.

The allegations of elder abuse come from a recent expose in THR, which alleged that Lee was being taken advantage of and abused by his daughter J.C. Lee and his primary caretaker Keya Morgan, and in attempt to gain control over his assets. It's a harrowing tale, and one that Lee has strongly denied in the past few days.

Stan Lee's finances have had quite a few threats over the past few months. Just a month ago we reported that Lee had been robbed of a whopping $1.4 million in cash that mysterious disappeared from his private residence, and was also robbed of $850,000 and $300,000 in different recent robberies. Additionally, a comic book store recently sold some copies of Black Panther that were allegedly stamped using Stan Lee's own blood.

Aside from Stan Lee's fiscal woes, he's also had some health issues in the recent past. He recently had a battle with pneumonia, which can be very dangerous for a man as old as Lee. He also recently became a widower, as his wife of 70 years Joan Lee died last year at the age of 93.

While Lee's attitude and creativity has inspired generations of fans, he's certainly going through a rough patch.Hopefully the truth of Stan Lee's condition will be revealed soon, and he'll have someone to advocate for his best interest.
