I can't say I follow exactly where he's going when that, but if Sylvester Stallone says he has complementary good idea in him for Rocky, jump to it. It worked competently for at least two Creed spinoff-sequels, and maybe even a third when or without Rocky. It's possible his explanation to the audience, during a career retrospective talk when Didier Allouch (via Deadline), suggested a additional fighter for Rocky to train in a additional spinoff.
